CHRISTVS CRVCIFIXVS nace como una interpretación personal de uno de los temas más representados y profundos de la historia del arte: la Crucifixión de Cristo.
The work seeks to convey not only the moment of sacrifice, but also the human and spiritual dimension that has accompanied this image for centuries. Through a large-format composition, the central figure acquires a monumental presence, inviting the viewer to pause before the suffering, dedication and universal meaning of the event represented.
Influenced by the pictorial tradition of the Renaissance and Baroque, the work captures the importance of drawing, anatomy and the study of light as fundamental elements to build a scene full of drama and emotion.
